Cockpit phD® is an aviation shop for people who take their home cockpit seriously. We design and ship flight simulator hardware — throttle and flap modification kits, cockpit panels, and aviation collectibles — to simmers and pilots around the world.

How we started

Cockpit phD started with a frustration every home cockpit builder knows. Off-the-shelf peripherals were not immersive enough: throttle handles felt like plastic, flaps moved without detents, and the gap between a desk setup and a real flight deck stayed wide. The hardware that could close that gap was priced for training centres, not for simmers.

So we started making the parts ourselves, one 3D-printed prototype at a time, and shipping them.

What we make

• Throttle and flap mod kits — handles and detent kits for the Honeycomb Bravo and Logitech G Pro, so the levers feel like the aircraft you are actually flying.
• Simulator panels and mounts — MCP autopilot panels, overhead racks and panel stands, built to bolt onto the hardware you already own.
• Aviation collectibles — aural warning and cockpit sound keychains, airport code tags, and desk pieces for the people who never really left the flight deck.
